From November 30 to December 13, 2023, the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) was held at Expo City Dubai in the UAE. The conference reached the UAE Consensus, agreeing on key issues such as the first global stock take of the Paris Agreement, climate mitigation, adaptation, finance, environmental loss and damage, and a just transition.
