Sector 1: Language Services
Grouphorse serves as the official supplier of translation services to nearly 40 international organizations, including the United Nations Headquarters, the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Boao Forum for Asia, and the BRICS mechanism. The company has been formally recognized by the China International Import Expo (CIIE) as an outstanding contributor.
Grouphorse is the initiator and organizer of high-profile national language competitions such as the China Interpreting Contest (supported by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research), the China Translating Contest (supported by UNIDO), and the Grouphorse Cup English Public Speaking Contest (supported by the British Embassy). It serves as an official examination center for the UK Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) Diploma in Translation, a translation service provider for Cambridge University Press & Assessment, and a translation partner for the Harvard China Education Symposium and the Cambridge China Education Forum. Grouphorse is deeply committed to sustainable development with a strategic focus on ESG. Chairman Xing Tang delivered a keynote speech at UN Headquarters in 2017, was named a finalist for the "UN SDG Pioneer" list in 2020, met with UN Resident Coordinator Siddharth Chatterjee in 2021, and held a formal meeting with UN Assistant Secretary-General and UN Global Compact CEO Sanda Ojiambo in 2023. In 2025, he was selected as one of five finalists for the Asia Society's "Global Talent Impact Award" (established by the Rockefeller family).
Grouphorse led the drafting of China's first ESG training standard, the "Specification for ESG Capacity Building Training for Corporates" (a group standard), and contributed to the drafting of the "ESG Evaluation Guide for State-Owned Enterprises." At the local level, Grouphorse actively supported and implemented the "Shanghai Three-Year Action Plan (2024–2026) for Enhancing ESG Capacity of Foreign-related Enterprises," receiving the "Special Contribution Award" from the Shanghai Federation of Modern Service Industries (one of the plan's leading units). As a designated observer for the business environment monitoring program under the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Commercial Sub-Council, Grouphorse has organized overseas compliance and governance training for Chinese enterprises at leading institutions such as the National University of Singapore and the University of Hong Kong. Grouphorse also founded the "Grouphorse Education Fund" at Beijing Foreign Studies University and was among the first Chinese firms to sign the UN Women's "CEO Statement of Support for the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs)."
Sector 3: Education and Training
Grouphorse has established long-term partnerships with over 200 universities in China and abroad. It conducts graduate program evaluations for Double First-Class universities and contributes to the compilation of the Index of Translation Competency of Chinese Universities. In December 2023, Grouphorse and Jilin International Studies University jointly established the Grouphorse School of Translation. In May 2024, its UNCIC Interpreting Training Programme successfully passed the AIIC review, becoming the third officially recognized program in mainland China after those at Shanghai International Studies University and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. That same month, Grouphorse and Tianjin Foreign Studies University established China’s first ESG-focused college—TFSU Grouphorse ESG Industrial College—which received immediate and prominent coverage from People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, Guangming Daily, China Daily, and other major media. Grouphorse is a leader in international ESG communication, helping Chinese enterprises enhance their global voice. Chairman Tang Xing was invited to the UN Future Summit convened by Secretary-General Guterres.
