The company operates across six core sectors: language services, international consulting, education and training, human resources, global communication, and artificial intelligence. Over the past sixteen years, Grouphorse has earned widespread recognition from international organizations, government bodies, corporations, and NGOs for its excellence and professionalism. Letters of appreciation have been issued by world leaders such as former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown, former French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin, and former Australian Prime Minister John Howard.

Sector 1: Language Services

Grouphorse serves as the official supplier of translation services to nearly 40 international organizations, including the United Nations Headquarters, the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Boao Forum for Asia, and the BRICS mechanism. The company has been formally recognized by the China International Import Expo (CIIE) as an outstanding contributor.

Grouphorse is the initiator and organizer of high-profile national language competitions such as the China Interpreting Contest (supported by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research), the China Translating Contest (supported by UNIDO), and the Grouphorse Cup English Public Speaking Contest (supported by the British Embassy). It serves as an official examination center for the UK Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) Diploma in Translation, a translation service provider for Cambridge University Press & Assessment, and a translation partner for the Harvard China Education Symposium and the Cambridge China Education Forum. Grouphorse is a governing member of the Translators Association of China and a member of the American Translators Association. It is also among the first officially designated national internship bases for Master of Translation and Interpreting (MTI) education in China.

Sector 2: International Consulting

Grouphorse is deeply committed to sustainable development with a strategic focus on ESG. Chairman Xing Tang delivered a keynote speech at UN Headquarters in 2017, was named a finalist for the "UN SDG Pioneer" list in 2020, met with UN Resident Coordinator Siddharth Chatterjee in 2021, and held a formal meeting with UN Assistant Secretary-General and UN Global Compact CEO Sanda Ojiambo in 2023. In 2025, he was selected as one of five finalists for the Asia Society's "Global Talent Impact Award" (established by the Rockefeller family).

Grouphorse led the drafting of China's first ESG training standard, the "Specification for ESG Capacity Building Training for Corporates" (a group standard), and contributed to the drafting of the "ESG Evaluation Guide for State-Owned Enterprises." At the local level, Grouphorse actively supported and implemented the "Shanghai Three-Year Action Plan (2024–2026) for Enhancing ESG Capacity of Foreign-related Enterprises," receiving the "Special Contribution Award" from the Shanghai Federation of Modern Service Industries (one of the plan's leading units). Grouphorse was commissioned by the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce to establish its ESG Service Center and became one of the first companies to join the Suzhou ESG Industrial Innovation Center, China's first dedicated ESG industry platform. Grouphorse Vice President Ms. Zhang Li was received by Liu Xiaotao, then a Standing Committee Member of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee.

In addition, Grouphorse co-initiated the Export-Oriented Intellectual Property Enterprises Committee under the China-Asia Economic Development Association alongside Huawei, Geely, and Xiaomi. As a designated observer for the business environment monitoring program under the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Commercial Sub-Council, Grouphorse has organized overseas compliance and governance training for Chinese enterprises at leading institutions such as the National University of Singapore and the University of Hong Kong. Grouphorse also founded the "Grouphorse Education Fund" at Beijing Foreign Studies University and was among the first Chinese firms to sign the UN Women's "CEO Statement of Support for the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs)."

Sector 3: Education and Training

Grouphorse has established long-term partnerships with over 200 universities in China and abroad. It conducts graduate program evaluations for Double First-Class universities and contributes to the compilation of the Index of Translation Competency of Chinese Universities. Grouphorse co-founded joint training programs and practice bases with institutions such as Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Renmin University of China, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Sun Yat-sen University, Sichuan University, Tongji University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and many others. It also founded China’s first Translation Industry-Education Integration Consortium and has collaborated with international institutions such as New York University, the City University of New York, the University of Essex, and the University of Westminster.

Grouphorse has signed credit recognition agreements with top-tier Chinese universities and sends students annually to the United Nations for internships. It has an ongoing training partnership with UNITAR. The company provides customized internal training for organizations including central SOEs (e.g., CNOOC, State Nuclear Power), foreign enterprises (e.g., Novo Nordisk, PwC), and diplomatic missions (e.g., Australia, Norway), and is widely acclaimed.

In December 2023, Grouphorse and Jilin International Studies University jointly established the Grouphorse School of Translation. In May 2024, its UNCIC Interpreting Training Programme successfully passed the AIIC review, becoming the third officially recognized program in mainland China after those at Shanghai International Studies University and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. That same month, Grouphorse and Tianjin Foreign Studies University established China’s first ESG-focused college—TFSU Grouphorse ESG Industrial College—which received immediate and prominent coverage from People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, Guangming Daily, China Daily, and other major media. In June, the college launched an internship and employment base at the Suzhou ESG Industrial Innovation Center, inaugurated in the presence of senior local officials.

In June 2025, Grouphorse and the School of Foreign Languages at Southwest Petroleum University jointly established China's first ESG institution based in a Double First-Class foreign language department. In July, Grouphorse and Sichuan International Studies University co-founded the Grouphorse ESG Global Governance Talent College—the first ESG college in Western China.

Sector 4: Human Resources

Grouphorse provides high-precision headhunting and talent placement services for international organizations, government bodies, and enterprises. The company leverages its extensive multilingual talent database, which draws from its long-standing involvement in major language contests such as the China Interpreting Contest, the China Translating Contest, and the Grouphorse Cup Public Speaking Competition. This enables Grouphorse to identify candidates with both domain expertise and multilingual capacity.

In November 2022, Grouphorse became an official training and talent supplier to TikTok, delivering foreign-language anchors and operations specialists to key cross-border e-commerce zones.

Sector 5: Global Communication

Grouphorse is a leader in international ESG communication, helping Chinese enterprises enhance their global voice. Chairman Tang Xing was invited to the UN Future Summit convened by Secretary-General Guterres. Grouphorse participated in the UN High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) Ministerial Meeting and hosted a forum at Climate Week NYC—one of the world’s most influential climate summits—entitled "Green Transition Policy & ESG: Global Vision and China Practice."

Grouphorse co-hosted the China Translating Contest with UNIDO, and launched the East China ESG Translation Contest with the Shanghai Foreign Languages Society, boosting the international ESG competence of regional language talent. The company regularly organizes the "New Career Path for Language Professionals: ESG" summit series and published the Grouphorse ESG Textbook Series (Fudan University Press), serving both academic institutions and enterprise training programs.

Within the United Nations system, Grouphorse has proactively proposed discussion topics and co-organized official side events at the ECOSOC Youth Forum and the UN Ocean Conference, demonstrating strong leadership and agenda-setting capacity in global governance.

Sector 6: Artificial Intelligence

Grouphorse draws upon its strengths in multilingual language services, international rule interpretation, and semantic structure analysis to build foundational AI data capabilities. Focusing on the integration of Language × AI × Compliance, it is developing internationally adaptable and professionally relevant semantic data systems to support high-quality data supply for large language model training, cross-lingual semantic alignment, and AI reasoning enhancement. Grouphorse has assembled a top-tier AI research team comprising experts from Columbia University, MIT, and the University of California, Berkeley.
