  • Translation Project Manager

    Responsibilities:

    l  Assist project manager in managing clients’ needs and expectations, and collecting references;

    l  Coordinate all aspects of the projects managed, including project planning, quality, timeline, booking resources and provision of status reports;

    l  Monitor and control project status;

    l  Prepare and maintain project documentation;

    l  Perform quality checks at various stages to ensure quality and accuracy (proofreading, ‘final eye’…);

    l  Assist in organizing internal training and communication in order to improve the whole translation team;

    l  Handle other tasks assigned by superiors.


    Requirements:

    l  Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in corporate environment;

    l  Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese communication skills;

    l  Ability to generate and maintain budgets and schedules;

    l  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;

    l  Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;

    l  Ability to communicate with clients and team members;

    l  Independence in carrying out tasks;

    l  Detail-orientated;

    l  Ability to multitask;

    l  Highly-developed computer skills;

    l  Experience of using standard translation management tools preferred but not required. (memoQ, Trados, Wordfast, etc.)


    Salary:

    RMB 6,000-10,000+Bonus
