On December 30, 2022, Grouphorse signed a cooperation agreement with UNITAR CIFAL Shanghai International Training Center (CIFAL Shanghai). The two parties hope to collaborate in the areas of language education of international talents, establishment of talent teams with an international vision, and development of the language services industry.

The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), is a training arm of the United Nations. As a member unit of UNITAR’s CIFAL Global Network, CIFAL Shanghai is an international training center for Asian-Pacific region in China. CIFAL Shanghai strives to explore advanced management principles and methods used around the world, and to provide senior government officials and managers with opportunities for systematic learning and knowledge sharing that are closely linked to several areas of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

Back in January 2019, Alexander A. Mejia, director of the UNITAR Global Network, visited Grouphorse. Appreciating the quality of Grouphorse’s translations at the Conference on Implementing the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, he said: “Since 2019, joint efforts to foster interpreters have been made by Grouphorse and CIFAL Shanghai.
