Interpreter Cheng

Cheng was a specially-engaged interpreter at the Expo 2010 Shanghai and the International Fund for Agricultural Development and a simultaneous interpreter at the China-ASEAN Expo, and has passed the Simultaneous Interpreter Level 1 of the China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters (CATTI) issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China (only 29 interpreters had the Certificate in China according to statistics as of 2011).

Cheng used to interpret for former Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, then State Councilor Liu Yandong, Wan Gang, Vice Chairman of the 11th and 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Yu Zhengsheng, the then Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, and Han Zheng, the then Mayor of Shanghai. Cheng has interpreted for some of the Fortune 500 companies for a long time, such as HP, Cisco, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Intel, Nokia, etc.
